Gazprom says IFRS net profit soars to 2.2 tln rbl in 2021

MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian gas giant Gazprom grew to 2.159 trillion rubles in 2021 from 135 billion rubles in 2020, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Thursday.

Revenue rose 62% to 10.241 trillion rubles.

The company’s net debt decreased by 26% in the period to 2.87 trillion rubles as of December 31.

Gazprom also said that the investments of the group in 2022 are estimated at 2.258 trillion rubles after 1.79 trillion rubles in 2021.
